Первый раунд: в Fortnite прибывают Рю и Чан-Ли из Street Fighter

Когда перед вами встаёт задача защитить Эпицентр, кто справится с ней лучше, чем легендарные бойцы из Street Fighter? Сегодня в магазине предметов появились два знаменитых героя Capcom.

Японец Рю готов вступить в битву и обрушить удар дракона (он же SHORYUKEN!) на противников. Для него доступно два варианта стиля: традиционное белое кимоно с чёрным поясом и красной повязкой на голову, а также форма для боя. Экипировка Рю идёт в комплекте с украшением на спину «Боксёрский мешок» и эмоцией Shoryuken!

Участвовать в состязаниях и бороться за победу намерен не только Рю, но и Чан-Ли — самая сильная женщина в мире (как она сама себя называет). Игрокам будет трудно устоять перед экипировкой Чан-Ли и ностальгическим вариантом костюма. В знак уважения к популярной аркадной игре мы добавили к экипировке Чан-Ли украшение на спину «Аркадный автомат» и эмоцию «Молниеносные удары!». Также идеальным дополнением к её образу станет кирка «Жезл семи звёзд» (продаётся отдельно).

Комплекты Рю и Чан-Ли также содержат экран загрузки «Выбери своего бойца!». Кроме того, комплекты снаряжения Рю и Чан-Ли включают дельтаплан «Летящий сумоист» и две кирки: «Жезл семи звёзд» и «Боевой знак».

Фортографии

С прибытием на остров Рю и Чан-Ли объявляем новую тему для фортографий: один на один! Для этого вам нужно сфотографировать двух персонажей (необязательно легендарных бойцов из Street Fighter), принявших боевую стойку. Задействуйте подходящие эмоции, сделайте двухмерное изображение битвы в стиле аркадной игры и поделитесь снимком экрана в Twitter, указав #Fortography в качестве хештега! Позже мы представим некоторые понравившиеся нам снимки в блоге.

Компания Epic Games анонсировала очередную коллаборацию для Fortnite. Уже 21-го февраля на остров королевской битвы прибудут бойцы из серии файтингов Capcom Street Fighter.

Речь о Рю и Чунь Ли. Оба будут доступны в качестве скинов для стандартных персонажей и получат уникальные эмоции.

Ранее в Fortnite в качестве гостевых персонажей добавлялись Кратос из God of War, Мастер Чиф из Halo, Дэрил Диксон и Мишон из «Ходячих мертвецов», Хищник, Сара Коннор и Т-800 из «Терминатора», Снейк Айз из G.I. Joe, Мандалорец, Флэш и многие другие.

Fortnite доступна для PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC через Epic Games Store и Android.

How to get Street Fighter’s Ryu and Chun-Li in Fortnite

Legendary video game brawlers Chun Li and Ryu from the Street Fighter series are now available in Fortnite in a new set of skins, and we’ve got everything you need to know to unlock them for yourself.

Fortnite’s next big crossover as part of Season 5’s Zero Point takes us back to the arcade with a load of Street Fighter cosmetics harkening back to Capcom’s classic fighting game.

The highlight definitely has to be the two new skins though, which will let players Hadouken and Kikoken across the island and Ryu and Chun-Li, respectively. If you’re chomping at the bit to get your hands on them, just read how to down below.

How to unlock Ryu and Chun-Li skins in Fortnite

Both skins and all of the other cosmetics unlocked in the Fortnite store on Saturday, February 20, after being leaked beforehand.

If you have the V-Bucks, you can simply head over to the store and pick them up, then drop into a match with either Ryu or Chun-Li, whoever floats your boat (or glider, in this case).

The prices for both Street Fighter crossover skins are listed down below:

Along with the skins, which are awesome enough on their own, you’ll also be getting exclusive emotes with each for your purchase. Ryu’s sadly isn’t a Hadouken, instead he pulls out another well-known move, the Shoryuken (or, “Rising Dragon Fist”) that has him punch up into the air.

Chun-Li’s emote features her Hyakuretsukyaku (AKA Lighting Kick, or Flurry Kick) which will be instantly recognizable to anyone who’s seen her in Street Fighter before. It’s the move where she kicks so fast, her feet and legs just blend into one big blur.

Round One: Street Fighter’s Ryu and Chun-Li Square Off in Fortnite

If you’re trying to secure the Zero Point, could there be a more PERFECT choice than recruiting World Warriors from Street Fighter? Starting today, two of Capcom’s greatest fighters join the Item Shop.

Master of the Dragon Punch (a.k.a. “SHORYUKEN!”) and hailing from Japan, Ryu is ready to fight. Select between his traditional white gi, black belt, and red headband or Battle variant. Always ready for action, the Ryu Outift comes equipped with the Training Bag Back Bling and the built-in Shoryuken! Emote.

Alongside Ryu, the self-proclaimed “strongest woman in the world”, Chun-Li, is ready for the competition to kneel before her. Players are sure to get (many, many) kicks out of the Chun-Li Outfit and Nostalgia Variant. As a tribute to one of gaming’s greatest arcade games, she comes equipped with the Super Cab-Masher Back Bling and built-in Lightning Kick! Emote. Complete her look with the Seven Star Flashing Flail Pickaxe (sold separately).

The Ryu & Chun-Li Bundles also include the “Player Select!” Loading Screen. Separately, the Ryu & Chun-Li Gear Bundle includes the Sumo Torpedo Glider and two Pickaxes: the Seven Star Flashing Flail and Signpost Pummeler Pickaxes.

Street Fighter’s Chun-Li and Ryu Are Coming to Fortnite

Fortnite announced that Street Fighter icons Chun-Li and Ryu are now playable characters in its expansive world, releasing a teaser video of gameplay.

The world of Fortnite added another pair of video game legends to its ranks.

Fornite announced on Feb. 19 that Street Fighter alums Chun-Li and Ryu are now playable characters. In celebration of the pair’s arrival, Fortnite’s YouTube released gameplay footage of the two characters, preparing to battle in Street Fighter II. Suddenly, the duo are pulled into Fortnite via the Zero Point with the Street Fighter II screen reading «Double K.O.»

In the world of Street Fighter, Ryu serves as its de-facto protagonist, being one of its world’s most skilled martial artists. He’s well known for his devastating «Hadouken» technique which sends a massive ball of energy towards his opponent. Chun-Li is an Interpol agent hellbent on hunting down the criminal M. Bison, who killed her father. Her signature move is her «Spinning Bird Kick,» moving her legs upside down like a rotating bladed-fan.

Both the Street Fighter and Fortnite worlds are no stranger to crossing over with other franchises. Fortnite has featured several characters and skins based on various franchises, with the most recent being the intergalactic hunter, The Predator. An upcoming event has teased the appearance of DC Comics’ resident speedster the Flash, based on Grant Gustin’s portrayal of the Fastest Man Alive. Both Ryu and Chun-Li have appeared in the X-Men vs. Street Fighter and the Marvel VS. Capcom franchises respectively.
